Justification
Governor's Recommendations 2023-24

The Governor's Budget Recommendation for Fiscal Year 2023-24 includes $2 million in recurring funds from the State
Economic Enhancement Trust Fund within the Strategic Business Development budget entity for the Defense Infrastructure
Grant (DIG). The DIG Program supports local infrastructure projects deemed to have a positive impact on the military
value of installations within the state. Funds are to be used for projects that benefit both the local community and the
military installation.
